I look forward to it. It is amazingly similar to working with kids except I find we need to take more breaks between songs.

SOOO much fun! What a party! I can’t wait to try some of these!!! I really like the throwing in silly sounds and rewards after drumming ideas.

Thank you for having this Boomwhacker party available after the fact! I am a newly certified Music Therapist and have been wracking my brain about different experiences to introduce the Boomwhackers to my group. This video gave me a lot of ideas that I am excited to share with my groups! In addition to all of the useful resources! I am thrilled that I came across this in my search!

    • Kat Fulton June 6, 2012 at 7:56 am #

Sure thing! I’m glad you were able to dig in, Beth =)

I found boomwhackers this year and want to do more with them in my classes. I tried to downlaod the pop arrangments file, but I can’t get it to work. Any suggestions?

    • Kat Fulton July 28, 2012 at 5:53 pm #

Hi Joy! It’s a zip file. Here’s what should work:

On a PC: Click the hyperlink above. Your browser should ask you whether you’d like to SAVE or OPEN. Choose SAVE, and save the file into a file on the Desktop. Find the file in your the navigation window. Right click on the file and select “Extract Contents.” Look in the same file where the zip is, and find the FOLDER with the same name as the zip. That folder should have all the PDF contents inside.

Nowadays on a PC, the file actually shows up at the bottom of your browser where you can extract files direct . . . so you wouldn’t have to right click and “extract files.” But it depends upon the operating system and browser that you use.

On a Mac: Click the hyperlink above. Your browser should ask you whether you’d like to SAVE or OPEN. Choose SAVE, and save the file onto the Desktop. Find the zip file on the desktop in your Finder window. Double click the zip file, and a file FOLDER with the same title should appear right below the zip. The folder has all the PDF contents inside.

      Is it working for you?

      • joy July 28, 2012 at 6:15 pm #

Unfortunately, no. I click on the extract all button which leads me to the unzipping wizard, but then it tells me the file is either invalid or corrupt. Could it be send directly to my email?
