1. Self-care
2. Social media and social networking to expand your business

Great Drum Call tonight! I thought it was very interesting what you said about the anxiety that so many music therapists feel about using drumming in therapy. I have noticed the same thing and sometimes feel that same anxiety since I am not a percussionist by training. I hope that I will be able to share some interesting research about this topic at the AMTA conference this year. I did a pilot study about the anxiety and self-confidence of music therapy students facilitating drum circles and using drum/percussion in therapeutic situations. The results of the pilot study were very interesting, especially as they relate to increasing self-confidence. Thank you for sharing you personal story and giving all of us more confidence to use drumming with our clients! You also shared some great ideas that will be very helpful in the future!
Thanks Kat!
Wow, Daniel! Thank you for sharing all this! I’m really looking forward to seeing your pilot study. Should be very helpful to so many music therapists. Thanks for joining in on the call and participating. Great to hear your voice! See you in Cleveland~
